We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

Naad uses the following third-party service:

Service Purpose Data Involved

This service is provided by Google LLC. Data shared with Google is subject to Google's own privacy and security practices. We do not control how Google internally processes or retains this data beyond what Google discloses in its own privacy policy.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not share your personal information with third parties except:

6. Data Retention

7. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including secure transmission (encryption in transit) between the app and our backend/Firebase services. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

Naad does not display any 18+ or age-restricted content, so the Application itself may be used by younger users, including teenagers aged 16 and above. However, Naad accounts may only be created by users who are 18 years of age or older — Naad accounts are not designed to be created or held by children in their own name. We take the following into account:

How Naad's account model addresses this: Naad's policy is that account holders must be 18 years of age or older, even though the Application itself is suitable for use by younger users, including those between 16 and 18. Creating a Naad account requires a mobile number, which is used as the account's login identifier together with a password. In India, a person generally cannot independently obtain a mobile connection in their own name until they are an adult, due to telecom KYC (know-your-customer) requirements — this reinforces our 18+ account policy in practice. As a result, a child (including a teenager under 18) is not able to independently register a Naad account under their own identity — if a user under 18 uses Naad, it is expected to be through a parent's or guardian's own phone number and account, not a separate account created by the minor. To be clear, beyond this stated policy, the mobile-number requirement is a real-world, practical constraint on who can obtain a mobile number, and not a technical age-verification step performed by the app itself — Naad does not currently ask for a date of birth or age, and does not perform in-app OTP or identity/KYC verification of the phone number at signup.

Because of this, the personal data tied to any given Naad account (name, mobile number, city, state) is expected to belong to the adult who registered it, and Naad does not knowingly collect account-holder data directly from a child.

If we nonetheless become aware that we have collected personal data from a child, or that an account was registered by or in the name of a child, without appropriate parental/guardian consent, we will take steps to delete that data and, where applicable, deactivate the associated account.

Parents/guardians who believe their child has provided personal data to Naad without appropriate consent may contact us at tanaykolvekar@gmail.com to request review or deletion.

9. Your Rights and Account/Data Deletion

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or Google Play policy. We will update the "Last Updated" date above when changes are made. Continued use of Naad after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
